NY Department of Health (DOH) Guidance on Travel Advisory
- New guidance from the NY DOH has been released which supplements the information in our client alert titled “Tri-State Travel Advisory” published yesterday, June 25, 2020
- The designated states with significant community spread will be posted on the DOH website and will be updated weekly here: https://coronavirus.health.ny.gov/covid-19-travel-advisory
- The requirements of the travel advisory do not apply to any individual passing through designated states for a limited duration (i.e. less than 24 hours) through the course of travel
- The travel advisory requires all New Yorkers, as well as those visiting from out of state, to take personal responsibility for complying with the advisory
- The quarantine requirements related to this travel advisory are available in the link below
- The below link also includes information about travel advisory exemptions for first responders and essential workers
