Levene Gouldin & Thompson Names New Managing Partner

Levene Gouldin & Thompson, LLP, one of the largest law firms in the Greater Binghamton region, has named Scott R. Kurkoski to the position of managing partner effective January 1, 2022.
The members of the firm express their deep gratitude to their Partner, Jeffrey A. Loew, for his leadership as Managing Partner. Mr. Loew has successfully guided the firm for the past ten years, becoming the firm's longest serving managing partner. His departure from the position follows the firm's longstanding tradition of affording others in the firm an opportunity to experience the leadership position. He follows former managing partners John J. Pollock, Lawrence J. Schorr, John L. Perticone, Philip C. Johnson, David M. Gouldin and Michael H. Zuckerman. Mr. Loew looks forward to returning to the full-time practice of law where he focuses on business, banking and real estate transactions.
Mr. Kurkoski is a graduate of Maine-Endwell High School and Ithaca College. He graduated from the Temple University School of Law in 1989. He joined the firm after graduation as an associate and became a partner in 1995. He has served as the firm's associate supervisor, hiring partner and compensation committee member. He currently serves as chair of the firm's Energy Practice Group and Marketing Committee. He focuses his practice in the areas of business, renewable energy and real estate.
