Support Center Clerk
Location: Vestal

Full-Time: 9:00 AM -5:00 PM

Pay Range: $17-$22/Hour

The Support Center Clerk is a full-time, key position in the firm’s Support Center at our Vestal location that provides essential support to the firm in several areas and assists the Support Center Supervisor.   

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organization and distribution of all mail including US and interoffice mail, packages, and overnight deliveries.
  • Prepares closed files for onsite and offsite storage and retrieval of files from storage upon request. Working with the Records Department as needed with storage organization. 
  • Assistance to legal staff with large copy and scan projects; printing of multiple documents and/or pictures; scanning documents to put on to flash drives/CD’s. 
  • Provides primary backup for the front desk receptionist position and secondary backup to courier position, which are all part of the Support Center department.
  • Works with the attorney who oversees the Library functions to maintain different online and hardcopy publications including renewals, inventory and distribution of materials.  
  • Various projects as assigned.
  • Back up duties to the Support Center Supervisor as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Professional and neat in appearance daily.
  • Computer proficiency including experience with software applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. 
  • Excellent and professional verbal and written communication skills due to daily, extensive contact with firm personnel and vendors.
  • Precise attention to detail.
  • Ability to be on your feet throughout the day and handle a large, fast-paced volume of work.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to commute daily to the Vestal office; reliable transportation for responsibility as backup to the Courier.
